2. Services Provided

Amax Haulage Ltd. offers the following services:

  • Haulage services for transporting goods within the UK.
  • Container sales and rental for storage and transportation.
  • Modular homes and offices sales and installation.

3. Booking and Orders

  • All bookings or orders for haulage, containers, or modular homes must be confirmed by both parties (the customer and Amax Haulage Ltd.) via email or other written means.
  • Prices and terms for services will be agreed upon before the provision of services.
  • Orders for modular homes and containers are subject to availability and delivery schedules.

4. Pricing and Payment

  • All prices are quoted in GBP and are subject to VAT (if applicable).
  • Payment terms for haulage services are generally due within 30 days from the date of invoice unless otherwise agreed upon.
  • Payment for modular homes, containers, and other services must be made before delivery unless alternative payment arrangements have been agreed.
  • We accept payments via bank transfer, credit/debit cards, and other payment methods specified by Amax Haulage Ltd.

5. Delivery and Lead Times

  • Delivery schedules for haulage services, containers, and modular homes will be provided at the time of booking. Delivery times may vary depending on location and availability.
  • While we aim to meet agreed delivery times, we cannot be held liable for delays caused by unforeseen circumstances, including but not limited to weather conditions, road closures, or vehicle breakdowns.
  • All deliveries must be signed for by an authorized representative of the customer at the specified delivery address.

6. Customer Responsibilities

  • The customer is responsible for providing accurate delivery details, including addresses and contact information.
  • For haulage services, the customer must ensure that goods are appropriately packaged and loaded for transportation.
  • For container or modular home deliveries, the customer must ensure that the delivery site is accessible, free from obstructions, and capable of supporting the load.
  • The customer must ensure that there is adequate space for the safe and secure placement of containers or modular homes.

7. Cancellation and Refunds

  • If the customer wishes to cancel or reschedule an order for haulage services, containers, or modular homes, notice must be given at least 48 hours in advance.
  • Cancellations made less than 48 hours before the scheduled delivery date may incur a cancellation fee.
  • Refunds for canceled orders will be processed according to our refund policy, which will be clearly outlined at the time of booking.

8. Liability

  • Amax Haulage Ltd. is not liable for any loss or damage to goods during transportation, unless caused by our negligence or failure to comply with our contractual obligations.
  • We are not liable for indirect or consequential damages, including loss of profits, business interruption, or damage to property.
  • For modular homes or container sales, Amax Haulage Ltd. offers a warranty covering manufacturing defects for 12 months from the date of delivery.

9. Insurance

  • Amax Haulage Ltd. holds the necessary insurance for haulage services and the transport of goods. However, customers are encouraged to arrange their own insurance for the goods being transported.
  • Customers should also ensure that they have adequate insurance coverage for modular homes or containers purchased from us.

10. Privacy and Data Protection

  • We collect and process customer data in accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and our Privacy Policy.
  • By using our services, you consent to the collection and use of personal data as described in our Privacy Policy.

11. Dispute Resolution

  • In the event of a dispute, the customer agrees to attempt to resolve the issue amicably through direct communication with Amax Haulage Ltd.
  • If a resolution cannot be reached, the matter may be referred to arbitration or a relevant regulatory body.

12. Governing Law

  • These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and any disputes will be resolved within the jurisdiction of the courts of [insert region or location].
